Dumb Ear

We're doing one-a-day reviews of the California 20 artist 10LP box set, co-released by RRR, Troniks, and Ground Fault. They may not strike it rich, but we're expecting more than a few artists to have panned out some solid fucking gold. We've decided to follow through the artists in a roughly geographical fashion, working from Southern CA up to the icy northern lands. Not because we expect physical geography to reliably index sonic landscape in any meaningful way, but because we want to.
